school is in to its 5th week already. time really flies here in NUS. in the blink of an eye, my 3 months holiday are gone!!! Now that i think about it, i feel that i really missed krabi and that i didnt make my 3 weeks there fulfilling. i so wanna go there again next vacation. and i am gonna climb everywhere!!! high or low. try everything possible. do multipitch and of course, deep water solo.
been running and running and running all the time now. I clocked 2 hrs 15 mins for the 21.95km Army Half Marathon and 57 mins for Nike+ Human Race 10km. Now all my focus is gonna be on the 42.195km Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon. It will be my second full marathon and i certainly hope to perform better than my previous timing of 6 hrs 25 mins. but with a well written training program by running pro claudia, I am sure i can improve my timing by maybe 1hr? haha of course i have to follow it strictly. shall see how it goes.
The climbing team welcomed a total of 16 freshies to the team! 1 open man, 3 intermediate men, 3 intermediate women, 4 novice men and 5 novice women. They are a pretty fun bunch and i am sure they will get stronger very quickly training in NUS.
at this point of time, i have no idea what i should do. should i climb hard? or should i just slack off? well slacking off has never been in my dictionary when climbing is concerned... its just that this tendon of mine cant seem to completely heal. if i feel pain hanging open handed on the campus board, well it means that i shouldnt hang on the campus board.. i just hope that it recovers before end of this yr. i desperately wanna get stronger.. seeing everyone around me already stronger than i am. what is this open men label? well i guess its a very good excuse to just do the bare minimum for training.. and its not something that i would normally do. but at this time, what other choice do i have...
please recover mr tendon..
